Welcome!

It was so wonderful to see everyone yesterday and all the smiling new faces!  I can’t wait for a new school year with your children.  I just wanted to send a couple of quick reminders before the first day of school.

* Please send your child with a pop-top water bottle every day. Your child will have access to the water bottle all day.

* We also need a family photo (4x6 or smaller) for our classroom Safe Place.

*     If you have not turned in school supplies yet please bring them with you on Monday when you walk your child in.  Please only label the journals and the plastic folder.  Here is the link to the school supplies for Kindergarten

*  If you did not pay for the student workbooks and specials supply fee ($16.50), and Field Trip T-shirt we will make($5.00), please send this in on Monday as well.  The math workbooks will not go home until they are paid for.  You can include the workbooks and the specials fee in one check made out to KCSMA and the other $5.00 MUST be in cash.  Please label this when you send it in with your child’s name and what it is used for.

*      Don’t forget to join the PTO in the dining room after you drop your child off at 8:15 for their Boo Hoo/Yee Haw Breakfast.

* For morning carpool, please refer below for your suggested drop off time based on your color carpool number.

*   For morning and afternoon carpool, please have you number hanging on your rearview mirror.  The easiest way to do this is to use a child’s pants hanger.  In the morning, when your child is let out of the car please take it down.  In the afternoon, when your child is loaded into your car please take it down.
